Question about GPA in aerospace engineering

My GPA was like 2.2 after first year. I just finished my third year and it’s gone up successively after each term. I think my last term’s GPA (not CGPA) was like 3.5ish... I’m finding it was probably a combination of learning how to study more effectively, a more stable life now than I had before (relationship-wise, housing-wise, etc.), and more focus subject-wise in school, that has led to this uptrend for me. By the focus in subjects I’m talking about the more specialized classes like aerodynamics, heat transfer, thermo, etc. I’m really enjoying them, as opposed to first year where you have to absorb so much general information that I found it pretty overwhelming. Once my foundation was laid (learning the general math, basic physics, report standards, unit conversion/dimensionalisation, etc.), even though I struggled through it, has enabled me to appreciate or enjoy the subjects I’m learning now. I think the first year or two were harder than the one I just finished. Just keep your head up :)
