Libertarianism does indeed defend that a private company can do what it wants to achieve maximum profit within their own property/service, but only if they're in a free market, which is what you conveniently left out. A free market means absolutely no political interference, no government-given privileges such as "intellectual property" or "patents" protecting them from competition. Anyone can make what they want to make and sell what they want to sell, as long as they don't assault anyone. In other words, there is real consequence to having a bad reputation as you're more than likely going to be swallowed by the high amount of competition that entails.
