Questions about my first massage

Honestly no, my feet didn’t seem particularly tight to me but I think my conception of that word is different than hers. I was tense because I was uncomfortable being touched by a stranger but in my daily life I have no complaints of pain or tightness. I decided to get a massage strictly for anxiety relief. My confusion with the words “congestion” and “tightness” are not the reason I won’t be returning to see her. My biggest concern is her attempt to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal problems I do not have. I see a physician regularly, have had CT scans of my abdomen, and have no pain or mobility issues. Some of the commenters here noting how inappropriate that was really cemented it for me.

Out of curiosity, what is your opinion on her making those statements about my rib/neck? Do you also see that as outside her scope of practice? Do you think I should take that assessment seriously? I’m not trying to shit on massage therapy, all of my questions are in good faith. I just don’t think she is correct and would like to find someone more compatible with my needs.
