Did anyone else's parent die in a really gruesome way? I need help.

My aunt was murdered in 2011 and her remains were never found, and her cause of death has only been explained to us from word of mouth of 2 living accomplices after the fact as the man who did it killer himself in prison for another charge. I catch myself very often picturing her last moments, how she felt, wondering how long or how quick she died, what he did with her body… the story we have been told is that he shot her in the head, attempted to dismember her, and then apparently put her in a dumpster. Traumatic deaths definitely do make the grieving process so much harder, and I am so sorry you had to lose your father that way. My thoughts are with you love I hope you are able to find some closure.
