Hi everyone! I made this reddit because I wanted to create a space where Black people can come to get advice and share their experiences of traveling in Eurasia. As many of us are aware it can be difficult to find helpful information that reflects/considers the Black experience in (post)socialist spaces. This is especially true of places like Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and Russia. There are so many of us who travel, live in and were born in Eurasia but are unable to find a community where we can ask for advice, tell our stories, or simply just vent. Please feel free to share your stories, ask questions, share pictures, or share helpful literature about blackness in Eurasia.
