/r/InstructionalDesign Weekly | TGIF: Weekly Accomplishments, Rants, and Raves

I’m very new to instructional design. I think it’s with noting that I am in the military and I’m working on my masters degree in Adult Learning and Organizational Learning. I’m also transitioning into a Curriculum Development Manager position within my unit from An Instructor Supervisor position where I teach, revise curriculum, and oversee 17 instructors. As I transition into my new position, I’ve been tasked with implementing the first flipped classroom in my unit. For some background, I’m working with aircraft avionics, like communication/navigation and radar principles. We teach basic representative systems to entry level technicians. Most information covers basic facts and principles. In short, I’m trying to measure information retainability and I’m looking for best practices...Does anyone have suggestions?
