/r/Pagan Ask Us Anything October 16, 2017

Hello! I hope I'm posting in the appropriate place, I'm brand new to the forum so I apologize in advance for any newbie mistakes I may make. :) I did read the FAQ that partially covered this question but was interested in receiving more "personalized" recommendations if at all possible!

I call myself Pagan for lack of a better term (I believe in multiple gods rather than one but don't associate with a specific pantheon) but haven't really found my path or done enough "serious" research and I'm feeling really overwhelmed about all the possibilities. I'm not even sure where exactly would be a good place to get started? I recently found out I have a pretty significant amount of Irish and Danish blood so I was particularly interesting in learning a bit more about their pantheons (Celtic & Norse?) if anyone has good resources/tips? I know blood probably doesn't automatically grant a connection, but I thought it was a good place to start since I know very little about my heritage and wanted to explore this aspect of it.

I'm also married to a strict atheist who just "doesn't get it" (although he's not in any way against me pursuing personal growth in this fashion), and we live in a very small house in a rather bad neighborhood, so it might be difficult for me to get a dedicated private space; if anyone has any tips for exploring Paganism in such a setting that would also be super appreciated.

Again, I hope I'm not being too much of pain/asking too silly of questions! D: Thank you in advance for any advice anyone may have!
