Rafa on hitting a ball during match

Seriously, just because Nadal's words can be taking out of context and applied here doesn't mean that he was being wise. He was being salty about a body shot he's taken against others. "Oh but his weren't fast forehands" It's nitpicking and ridiculous. Anyone on that court knows the risks of a fast ball their way, like in your last link, it's ridiculous to suggest players should abstain from such shots. It's completely diferent from a fast ball off play. Here Nadal was being salty, period, and it wasn't the first time.

I don't get why people can't just be a fan of a player without trying to convince everyone that they're perfect in every way and the others are monsters in comparison. Rafa is ridiculously self restrained (unless you're Bernardes), we know that, but he's far from perfect and that's fine. Djokovic was wrong and he was right to be DQd but people on this sub are ridiculous about him, like he's insane for yelling or his super competitive, sometimes arrogant, attitudes ("and he wonders why people hate him") . Rafa and Roger have shown glimps of that too, which proves they're usually better at holding their emotions. But why should we glorify that? Why are players expected to act like robots? Again, Nole was wrong, next time just smash a racket, but some of the guys here have an unhealthy obsession with trashing players like if you proved Rafa or Roger were morally superior that said something about yourselves as well.
