You don’t feel interested in a big 3 discussion but started engaging with the thread attempting to chastise someone for their opinion on the experience of watching post big 3 tennis compared to the big 3 era?

The fact is that there were 3 guys who played in rarefied air. Above everyone else. During a period when Tennis was mature. They shut out all comers. A whole bunch of very good Tennis players.

If my Aunty had bollocks she’d be my uncle. Present isn is always a problem in sport. You watch old videos and you can tell that the some of the players who dominated the tour since it went open likely would have been great in any era. They likely would have played longer. They may well have won more. But the big 3 actually did it. They each dealt with each other and some players who would have been great in any other era too. And they couldn’t be toppled until they hit the point where modern sports medicine couldn’t take them any further.
