The Rating system is not about tutoring skill

I have been working at Cambly for nearly 2 years and I have a 1000 upload and 1000 download speed from one of the highest quality internet services in the world. I have worked every weekend in that time and I have never ever failed to attend either a reservation, a PH, or missed 1 single call. I smile the entire lesson. I do everything properly, and I have never had any thing but good feedback from Cambly and the students in my reviews, Yet every week I drop 1 point on my rating. I have seen the same posts here about the ratings, and then the same posts again a few months later from new employees over and over again. I work 2 full days a week... 70% of those students that are nice, polite and respectful and 30% of them are rude and disrespectful towards me for what ever reason, don't like me, don't like my hair, don't like me smiling all the time, don't like me because where I'm from, don't like me because I'm not a real teacher, don't like me because I don't like football...etc...etc...etc. We have done polls, votes, and questionnaires and nothing ever changes. It is indeed a complete waste of time discussing it I assure you, I don't even look at my rating anymore. As I have said before... I work a day job (did until the pandemic) and Booking. com reviews are our life.... we deal with back handers, bullying, bribery etc etc .... putting the power of the reviews completely into the hands of the customer (or student in regards to Cambly) doesn't work, Cambly already know there is a problem with the review system as they have told us they are looking into it.
