I try and remind myself that the beautiful elaborate pictures I see of other people's islands online are just a small section of their island that they are proud of and I assume the rest of their island is as chaotic as mine feels at times. I also try not to commit to one theme or design because by the time I finish I usually want to change something or I get a fun DIY or update I want to incorporate into the island. Basically, I break my island into sections and design one at a time and usually over and over because ultimately there is no "end" and the most important thing is I like my island and I'm having fun! Keep going and try not to compare your island to others. I'm sure whatever you're doing is great and if you don't think so you can always change it!
