If LE did a report for everything they did in a day, criminals would get away with much more crime. Do you really want LE spending all their time filling in paperwork?

Actually I have good news for Mickey, Colborn almost certainly did write a report straight away for his November 3 visit.

If you look at the MTSO summary report, it starts with a list of people who have been interviewed concerning the case - in the category of other.

Positions 1 and 3 of "Other" are missing and are almost certainly Steven Avery (moved to category "Suspect") and George Zipperer (moved to category "Witness").

Position 2 is Barb T. She was the 2nd person contacted about the case on November 3. That must have been in the Colborn report that was written contemporaneously.

Something about the report must have been inconvenient - possibly Barb saying something totally inconsistent with the luring theory - so it was destroyed and a new one issued.

I won't hear a word against Andy Colborn's work ethic, not a word I tell you.
