You know the story of the tortoise and the hare? Picture it like this - APL is the tortoise, RED is the hare. Now imagine that the hare didn't lay down for a nap and instead just kept running. Now also imagine that after slugging along for a while, the tortoise tripped and fell flat on its face and just laid there for an entire month. That's sort of the difference between the two.

From the beginning I was rooting for APL to get better, being the underdog and all, but after a while it dawned on me that it really just is a pretty incompetent site. Even discounting the transcodes (which I thankfully hadn't run into but were abundant by other people's accounts), you can tell the maturity of its userbase from the fact that I got at least 3 notifications telling me the Once Upon a Time in Shaolin request got filled with some shit like Kenny Chesney or whatever. Hilarious.

If it was my only available music tracker I'd take it, but when RED's right next door and I have access to both, it's no contest. More content, better quality control, active & dedicated users, competent staff, an actually good invite forum... etc.
