Reddit, what's your scariest true story ?

11th grade. I am sitting in French Class learning how to conjugate future imperfect tense. Principle opens door and asks to see me outside. Weird. I am not a troublemaker, but this doesn't feel good at all... I walk through the door into the hallway, 4 police officers. Whoa. They ask if I have a locker, I do, but I don't use it, it's empty. They know that already... They ask me who I share with - shit, they have already been looking into me, what. the. fuck. I tell them about my shared locker, because I was 99% sure nothing in there of interest to them, and that turned out to be true. We all walk to the locker, I don't even bother asking what they are looking for, it's drugs, of some sort, weed is what I am thinking. The open the locker, they start rifling through shit, I am feeling slightly better at first, thinking good, they are looking for weed, I dont have weed, no weed in the locker, this will be ok. Then, they start on the text books, peeling page, by page, by page.... meticulously. Now, I am shitting bricks, they are looking for acid. I have 10 hits in my wallet in a hidden pouch. This is not good.

They take me to the Principal's office. Can you empty your pockets? Sure. Can we search your backpack? Sure. Can we see your wallet? Sure (fuck!). Search wallet as thoroughly as they searched everything else, they fuckin' knew. They find the tin foil containing the LSD. What's this? Welp, after that, the story continues, but the terror in that moment, surrounded by police, knowing you are absolutely fucked, the intimidation, the thoughts of expulsion, jail?, loss of your future, your potential career options, your family being disappointed, all of that converging at once in your mind.... that to me was more scary than anything I have experienced.
