Not at all. The catholic faith has Jesus as the absolute main focus. That's not to say that Catholics are "better" than other denominations and free of hypocrisy but if you are Catholic and throwing Jesus to the wayside you're fucking doing Catholicism wrong.

The rosary, all the imagery, the sacrements, it's all focused around Jesus.

In another denomination like baptists it's YHVH focused and sometimes you hear someone slip out a "praise jesus" in there during worship. It's focused on living by a standard of conduct that YHVH set and trying to enforce that conduct with others.

Catholics just quietly go about their lives and whisper "jesus loves me" and smile to themselves because that makes 'em feel warm inside while not actually giving a fuck about what Jesus wants them to do for others

I'm agnostic btw but went to a baptist church growing up WHILE being enrolled in a catholic school from k-12th grade so I'm having flashbacks
