You cannot apply scientific principles to anything but objective and empirical experimental facts. How do you test a story? You cannot apply the scientific method to stories because you will soon work your way back to the inside of someone's head and be stuck trying to locate and prove ownership of original ideas. A stubborn refusal to accept that is going to lead to this sub, like the COOI show, being a casual joke, as all efforts trying to touch this story in a serious way eventually lose momentum. Countless efforts to work back this story have failed to start the story prior to the 1840s because that's when the boots on the ground meet the creative story teller.
Reddit is not necessarily a safe place. I urge anyone who has been subject to stalking and harassing to take it very seriously, because it can rapidly escalate to outside of Reddit (in ways you cannot think). Reddit will not help you in that case. It will suggest you stay clear of trouble, maybe even leave for good. One's experience with Reddit can depend on one's effort to make it benign.
As a safe workaround I suggest creating an account with the TOR browser and using a disposable e-mail to confirm your account. The account will only stay active for a while until you are eventually required to verify the e-mail account. At that time burn the account and start a new one. It's the only way I'm aware of to protect your anonymity from malicious moderators. Reddit is constantly working to have the user be identifiable and traceable by algorithms. It's a battle because they are dealing with massive disinformation efforts by State players in some very popular subs.
Trust no one. Accept no one's word at face value on Reddit. Trying to foster an air of safety and trust on the internet by providing soothing guarantees is a chump's game that means nothing. There are people on this platform hell bent on making others' lives miserable. There are even subs where they hang around and brag about the shit they get away with and further brainstorm their attacks. You have been the object of that sort of thing at the COOI sub where the insane asylum is run by the patients. You have also been accused there of being part of a concerted effort to torment.
Unfortunately, you have already proven that you are not below outing people and airing your dirty laundry publicly. I suggest you keep your pie hole shut, read the comments and moderate as best as possible. It doesn't matter about identities unless you maintain an interest in cults of personality. No one reading here needs that level of control over others.
My accounts will forever be burned religiously now. The corporate fuckers demand it if they will not keep their platforms safe and moderated. It's a growing idea. I have no idea why you'd oppose it. Mojo means nothing. Traceable content is a gift to Reddit. I also prefer deleting comments and posts shortly after making them. That's how much respect I have for the Reddit community. Treat it like the bitch that it is.
I would also add that there exists a better platform with active discussions to discuss the OI stories. It's amazing how differently things come off then when people are openly serious about it. The real difference is is between the passive consumer of the OI drivel and those who treat the stories as deserving of being explored for their forms and types. The passive crowd usually is happy with stating it is all bullshit, and then it feels more than justified in just having fun with it. Even bullshit can be dissected to see what the bull was eating. It can't be done with a gas chromatograph, though. The tools to deal with stories are more ethereal, and unfortunately as subjective as the ideas themselves.
