I had a similar "gay paranoia" experience the first time I candy flipped. I enjoyed it so much that I picked up a guitar and started ad-libbing improv folk songs about the joy of being on LSD and MDMA, the full extent of my dumb lyrics were "LSD and XTC, LSD and my buddies 'n me". About half of us there were gay, but it wasn't like it was a gay party or anything, just humans on drugs. A friend and her boyfriend disappeared into our bathroom for a suspiciously long time... We thought they were fucking, but then the boyfriend(who we did not know very well) came exploding out of the bathroom and furiously announced to the room "I THINK EVERYONE HERE KNOWS I'M BI (none of us knew), BUT IT'S FUCKED UP THAT YOU(points finger at me) WROTE A SONG ACCUSING ME OF BEING GAY". He picked up a knife and started crying, like full on sobbing with rage. It was a nightmare getting this guy out of my house, he was being aggressive and scary and threatening all the LGBT people in the room. I found out years later he was arrested for killing someone.
