[Request] Looking for a group/clan of mature players. [A3]

Academi Gaming is an Arma 3 tactical realism/milsim group with several distinct units that appeal to different play styles and gaming experiences. Many of us are active duty, reserve, guard, or retired military who enjoy mature tactical and realistic gameplay.

The 4th ID serves as our mechanized infantry unit, employing various armored vehicles while working with the 10th SFG to accomplish mission objectives. The 4th ID operates as our milsim unit as well, with an established rank structure and formal training requirements.

The 160th SOAR is our rotary wing unit which provides the 10th SFG and 4th ID with all their air transport and CAS needs during operations. The 160th also includes a small detachment of pararescuemen who are responsible for retrieving downed aircrew as well as assisting the 10th SFG and 4th ID with MEDEVAC requests.

The 10th SFG focuses on tactical and realistic gameplay but without rank structure or formal training requirements. This unit forms the special operations arm of our ground forces. Employing unconventional warfighting techniques and small unit tactics, this unit assists the 4th ID and 160th SOAR in completing complex mission objectives.

Our unit conducts scheduled operations every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as intermittently throughout the week usually at 2000 EST/0100 Zulu. These missions are comprised both of cooperative and adversarial hand crafted missions made in house. We use a variety of popular game modifications and addons in use by many other Arma units.

If you are interested in joining, all you need to do is make contact with our unit, download our mod pack, and come join us for an operation. There is no formal interview or application process, we do not have a mandatory attendance policy. After you've participated in a few operations we will be happy to discuss adding you as full member to our community.

Feel free to PM me, add me on Steam, or jump on our teamspeak server. Keep in mind many of us work during the day so we may not be on our teamspeak between 0900 and 1700 EST.
