In response to U/TheKillingWait, this is the problem and many need to see this comment.

This is the toxicity people are talking about. What you’re saying might not necessarily be wrong or right, it’s how you say it. It’s just unnecessary aggression and intolerance. Why does this subreddit have to be the way you want it otherwise it’s no good? Why can’t you just ignore the parts that aren’t for you? Why do you feel the urge to tell people who have different views or opinions that they are wrong or stupid or their opinion sucks? Just go about your day and leave them to it. Maybe it does suck, maybe it doesn’t, that’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it, but sharing it the way you’re sharing it is so unnecessary. Also half of what you just said is completely subjective and opinion based. No one is saying there aren’t some absolutely absurd and ridiculous posts, but they don’t happen as often as you’re making out, most are perfectly fine and normal. And even when they do, some people just like to discuss those kind of things. Whether they are realistic or not, some people like to dream and imagine. Who’s to say they can’t do that here, why are you or people who think like you the arbiter of what can and can’t be discussed. Why not just stick to what you enjoy rather than focusing on what you don’t enjoy, massive issue with the internet in general is that people can’t seem to do this.
