Retinol/Vitamin A recommendations?

Differin (over the counter) Adapalene Gel 0.1% is considered fa safe.

Active ingredient: adapalene 0.1% (retinoid) / Inactive ingredients: carbomer 940, edetate disodium, methylparaben, poloxamer 182, propylene glycol, purified water and sodium hydroxide. May contain hydrochloric acid to adjust pH.

I used it for 8 months. It had some benefits--evened out slight hyperpigmentation/freckles and fine lines, but personally I didn't find it did all that much for my CC/FA. Your mileage may vary.

(Though come to think of it, I've had pretty bad FA breakouts since I stopped most skincare products a couple months ago, so maybe it helped a little? I have a full tube left, so I was planning on resuming once I finish my current Sulfur Mask/BHA and Glycerin free test routine.)
