Review What You're Wearing Today

Sunscreen - Anthelios ultralight SPF 60 and Anthelios mineral SPF 50 (I'm on a retinoid for hyperpigmentation and have become paranoid about sun protection) leaves a whitish cast but does not cause my eyes to burn

foundation and primer and powder Hourglass mineral veil and Jay Manuel Medium Filter 3 Foundation - got it on a whim but works surprisingly well (lasts ok, texture is a bit shiny, good coverage) but a shade too dark (which combats the white cast from the sun screen well), Hourglass dim light powder - took me ages to figure out how to use this on my face and almost destashed it but now is one of my HG products , eye primer is Miliani - works ok but nothing special.

Blush Tarte cheek stain in joyful and Tarte airblush maracuja blush - the color of both is good but the cheek stain does not last unless layered under a regular blush - the two combine to give me a nice glow

highlighter MAC motif eyeshadow- an HG product for me - gives a lovely subtle pinkish glow, can't say enough good about this product

eyes tarte in bloom (sweetheart for lid, rebel in the crease and leader in the outer corner) - love this palette - shadows have good pigmentation, blend well. last all day on me, UD Bordello in centre of lid (from the spectrum palette which I also love - so pretty), liner - tarte smokey in plum - new product for me, color is excellent, very creamy texture, will see how it lasts, mascara - covergirl supersizer - a new product for me - so far gives good volume, not so much length and hasn't flaked yet

lips: lined essense liner in a nude tone (not sure of name - has rubbed off) works ok and best quality: was cheap, Sephora lip stain in cherry blossom - doesn't last all that long for me but a nice color and doesn't transfer much and layers ok

perfume - Jo malone orange blossom layered with Origins ginger body cream
