This is certainly very exciting and promising. I would like to offer a suggestion on a major part of Robocraft that often gets overlooked, and that is community management and core audience. From the replies thus far on this topic it is fair to say that the die hard fans of RC seem to be very adult in their ability to comprehend and contribute . The main thing in original RC that I feel needs an overhaul is the way in which chat and violations of ToS are handled. In my first few weeks in OG RC I was silenced for what I still am not totally sure. This limited my upward mobility as 1 silence is enough to block a moderator application. Regardless I pressed on and managed to create one of the more recognized brands within RC. The fact that I will not divulge what my IGN was is testament to the unsafe environment now present in the game when it comes to potential account suspension for 'offensive' language. I would like to open the conversation on how to create a healthy community without granting overreaching powers to individuals not involved in actual development work. Perhaps recognizing that the core audience are adults would be a step in the right direction. What will the ESRB rating be for RCX? Keeping it at 10+ would be imo a huge mistake and would only repeat some major issues in OGRC. The gameplay present is at times more effective at military reflex training than simulstions used by real militaries and it would be nice if the rating would reflect this and we could thereby ease off on the censorship element now pervasive in OGRC. I don't want to get involved in another adventure that holds me hostage should I say something that 1 overzealous moderator takes as offensive when the reality is that no I'll intent was present or even understood. I would have loved to have been a moderator in OGRC but the system is so flawed that playing incognito is the only way to ensure that my investment in the title will not be sunk.
