Rogue pouches - swollen and numb lip/gums?

Do not overuse Rogue pouches especially if you are new to oral nicotene products. The delicate skin under your lips and on your gums will be quickly irritated especially if you use these pouches without rotating the position of the pouch in your mouth.

When you use the pouches for the first few times you will notice a burning/tingling sensation in the area where you placed the pouch, if the sensation is too strong use lower strength 3mg pouches intead of 6mg.

If you overexpose an area of your skin inside your mouth to the nicotene it will likely swell, turn a pale color and remain delicate, sometimes painful for several hours before returning to normal. Avoid this condition by rotating the position of the pouch.

Over time the skin will become less sensitive to the nicotene. If you stop using the pouches for a while, most of the sensitivity recovers over a period of a few days to a couple of weeks.

I put pouches in on the right, then left, then middle of the upper lip. If I am using them a lot I would also use them under the bottom lip in the same rotating pattern.

Try to limit how much much a single area in your mouth is exposed to the nicotene pouch. Change the position often to avoid irritating or burning your skin.

Rogue is a bit stronger than advertised imo so use lower strength 3mg instead of 6mg pouches if you feel the burning/tingling sensation is too strong.
