Well she's a Striker. That's her role. She really isn't much if any better than Mario at scoring though plus Mario is usually faster and has a better dodge. Also both Wario and Bowser can do the same thing with some tech investment while also being beefier (albeit slower) and Bowser has a disgusting tackle. It doesn't matter if they never get the ball though. My passers are typically how I get the ball to them which in my experience yields far more scoring potential than midfield shots even when full charged. The shooter might get all the attention and the heart of each goal but the passers are the veins that connect everything and without them the heart stops. If you ask me, with proper builds, almost every character is useful and has a role. The only ones that feel somewhat lackluster to me are Luigi and Yoshi, especially Luigi tbh. Everyone else is fantastic.
