Rude VCs

I'm seeking VC capital right now as a super late seed. I guess we're a series A by 12M val we're asking, but pre-revenue. Our problem has been finding investors who understand we're high-tech, and that this is a displacement opportunity (we make competition objectively obsolete) and we need money to develop new markets in the white space of unaddressed market. Unless they can follow with us, they won't be able to price us as an option which is really how a patent heavy startup should be valued (but alas I'm not the VC).

We've had some success with VC in the B2B SaaS space (got two meetings set up) but a lot of the dozen or so replies to our pitch ended when I said we have zero MMR. Is this normal? Any advice?
