Is this petty or proficient?

Thank you so much for the feedback! After discussing with others on this topic; I realized my decision making was immature; driven by emotion rather than rational and strategy. It just comes with the experience I’m constantly gaining. So I agree.

Because there is no one spot for these people we are serving to go for care, the companies are my direct competitors. With these investors having invested more than we’re asking into those. I wanted to show that our fundraising ask isn’t ridiculous for not only the type of tech we developed/ use for a very patient centric precision care system but for these other companies to also adopt into their whole system starting with our sector. We’ve engaged with them as consumers and have screenshots of the experience to exhibit how they are missing out on a massive opportunity of keeping these patients but also building trust and knowledge amongst their patients in other sectors of care. These patients are not the crème de la crème of their profits so the next step would be to leverage a partnership opportunity of B2B2C through their practitioners since they don’t have specialists either and have to refer them to specialists anyways; for both service and product (software). And if that is successful as a partnered pilot, it would be smoother to have them adopt the software completely leveraging a data sharing opportunity for better outcomes to every stake holder.

That’s not why I reached out to these investors though. I only came up with these thoughts on approaching a new batch of investors after being frustrated. I reached out to them because I look up to them as social impact drivers, their journey and experiences as well as these companies they’ve invested in. Making me feel they were the potential perfect fit for what I was seeking as not just an investor but a long term partner into success and change
