I thought was great in but I think her hardcore fans are getting on people's nerves. They kind of want to thrust her on the world as some sort of omni-pop savant. And stardom just doesn't work that way. You find a core audience and play to then most of your life.
I think since she should stick to the avant-garde circuit and be more of a performance artist. The fans who like that aspect of her music absolutely adore her. Selling herself as a sex bomb to the Peanut Gallery seems kind of a forced affair. She's not Carrie Underwood.
Even Madonna, who basically wanted to be loved by as many people she could fit into a showing of Truth Or Dare went... "There is only so far I can take this thing because I will still have to play the hits."
Every artist has a limit and a shelf life.
