I respect your faith though I don't share it. I hope Christian patriots know that many of us heathens are firmly on the right and think of you as allies.

I went through my Fedora faze. I know why Christians are wary to trust us but nowadays I consider myself culturally Christian though I've long since left the church and no longer believe in the supernatural claims of any of the worlds religions. Pray for my soul if you want and I'llappreciate it. That's what I have would have done back in the day. I was a zealous fruitful Christian for longer than most of you on the Donald have been alive. I still believe the Bible contains deep truth. All culture is a protracted naturally selective vetting process for ideas. Christianity has proven itself to be at wellspring of good ideas and the world would be a sad place without it.

I have two favorite verses that I'll never forget:

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will

Do not be overwicked, and do not be a fool-- why die before your time? It is good to grasp one thing and not let go of the other the man who fears God will avoid all extremes
