I believe it, I was born and raised in the next county over (manatee) and it was even worse. Had multiple occasions where they acted like true sociopaths and gave me a certain kinda fear of police. Now that I live in a new city, maybe I just don't know it yet but all my dealings with police have been very diff. Had to go to the police department for fingerprints when I got a certain permit and all the police were so nice to me it felt awkward lol. Wasn't expecting it. In Manatee county if you try to ask the police for help they will look for a reason to arrest you so I always tried to avoid speaking to them. I still do, but here im not afraid they are gonna have a power trip over me choosing using my rights to my benefit. Srq was bad too, you guys got motorcycle cops lol.
