Do you need to send a thank you email after an interview?

You are clearly very young and in that emotional maturity phase of digging your heels in and not seeing any other perspective. That’s fine. I remember that phase too. I helped me make mistakes and eventually be successful.

Professional courtesy is not outdated etiquette. It is universal and timeless. You will learn this with time. By all means - do what you feel is right for you. You will get jobs regardless. But just accept that their are peers in your field showing professional courtesy and it can very likely give them an edge.

People are just giving friendly, non malicious advice. If you think ‘that’s a fucking joke’, too bad. I’m not surprised you’re angrily fighting against advice common courtesy with responses full of profanity and rudeness. You can take it or leave it without actively fighting against it all over the thread.
