Scale of pretzel to ocean

Very true. In the moment that it happened I had so many things go through my head.

  1. Can I even respond to a cashier? Its kinda like insulting someone covered in poo, like, they are already covered in poo.
  2. Can I even respond to someone so young? Hell they probably don't even remember the last time the Pats had a losing season (pre-2001 Bellichick era) so they lack perspective
  3. My team has a better record and just came off a losing era but don't deserve to be part of the conversation? I don't even know what that means. I think dude was reading too many NYT and Globe articles which have a heavy bias towards the Northeast

I think the dude just manifested my years of poor experiences in New England, whether its daily swearing matches on the orange line, hearing constant horn honking on the way to work, or the unblinking unresponsiveness of blank-faced passerbys walking the streets of Boston. Just a cold place physically and mentally.

Having lived in the South, West, Northeast, and Southwest and dating a girl whose lived in Seattle, Detroit, Virginia, and California we just had so many stories and experiences that told us to get the hell out. My experience with Patriots fans were just icing on the cake. So yeah its compounded by travel experience but anyway I recently escaped the Northeast so I still have a bitter attitude toward that region of the country. In time I'm sure I'll forget all about the shoveling, the rude attitudes, and just remember my vacations to Martha's VY and trips to Walden Pond but the bad parts of the area are gripping my brain and I'm using all that ill attitude to cast bad juju on the Patriots. I take full responsibility for any witchcraft which may jinx Brady because my juju is strong.
