Official Post-Game Thread: Miami Dolphins defeat New England Patriots 20 - 7

First game definitely shows how 'clunky' the scheme is right now. Hoping it will click later on but, the team is in a massive rebuild phase still. I don't have super high hopes for Matt Patricia but at least he and Bill and a rapport that should get things moving.

I thought Mac did well in a leadership sense. Little mistakes but, it's his second season. I think the more time he spends with McCourty and Slater and learns how to lead he will do well.

I know alot of you are only used to winning, but this can be fun too. This doesn't mean we're inherently flawed. We just saw the Bills and Dolphins suck for 10-15 years while they rebuilt and dealt with having the GOAT in their conference.

On average it takes an NFL team 7-10 years to rebuild. If Bill is the GOAT coach wich I think he is, I could see him pulling it off in 5. and we're halfway there.

REMINDER - not that Mac needs to be compared to Tom, but Tom was in his second season, and we started 0-2, before we later won the super bowl.

So please stop with the insane negativity after GAME ONE. How does that make this sport fun?
