I thought they were trying to get us to root for Peggy and Ed just by the amount of times they'd get out of these ridiculous situations like when armed men go to their home. Peggy is so annoying I caught myself begging for her to be killed by Dodd before & after he was kidnapped.

Characters I liked personally were Bear because of his loyalty to the family, The queen Gerhart & of course Lou & his family.

I also caught myself rooting for the "Indian" just because it became him vs everybody after the bar slaying scene, It felt like one of those 'breaking out the main frame' type Detroit become human moments where he'd been brainwashed and now he's come to understand none of the "White man" are his allies lol.
