Serious question: why are the “vrijheidskonvooien” protesting literally 5 days before almost all restrictions are lifted?

No but really now? Don't you see the issue with running cover for one type of protest, that caused a lot more damage (ranging from theft to death), and calling a truck blockade an "insurrection; sedition; coup"? And obviously it's not just CNN, they're just the most prominent ones, MSNCB, NBC are pretty much doing the exact same thing.

I mean the double speak is insane to me; here (https://edition.cnn.com/2021/12/13/politics/insurrection-sedition-coup-january-6/index.html) they even define the terms, theres just no consistency in how it is applied to groups.

The made up narrative of insurrection, sedition and coup only serve to legitimize use of force against those protests, by painting them as something fundamentally dangerous and violent.

Obviously I'm operating under the understanding that media, and culture in general, is an extension of politics. As such CNN, MSNBC or NBC can be firmly aligned to democrats (what americans consider left), as they run defense for them. Similarly how Fox is an extension of the republican party.

As to the MLK quote, yes to some degree, sure, violent riots are a consequence of grievances that went unaired and unheard, and can become inevitable if that situation did go on for too long. But the BLM riots were as much a manifestation of media and democrats sowing division and outrage for years, and encouraging it to go on to interfere with the Trump presidency.

I do understand your aversion to the whole thing of course. Obviously if you're a leftist, and I don't mean that in a derogatory way, as I would if I was talking about US politics, just that you probably lean strongly to left, people calling out American leftist lunacy makes you want to defend and reclaim the term "left". But that was my point since the beginning, how American politics affects our politics, and how that mostly negatively affects our left by using the same term, but meaning different things.

I mean I really don't care much about the freedom convoy/trucker protests, but the way they are presented is reprehensible to say the least.
