This is a misunderstanding.
I didn’t “strongest dragon rider”, I said “which dragon rider was strongest.”
I believe Jaehaerys became king because he was the strongest (due to sex and age) compared alternative choices.
“More” does not mean that it’s not the basis, just that it’s not the only basis.
The basis for me is:
Male (strength)
Not a child (strength)
Dragonrider
Close enough to next in line so as to be acceptable.
Do you believe Jaehaerys could have become the figure head of the rebellion if he wasn’t a dragonrider?
I don’t think he could have, I think people would be too scared , but if you do we’ll have to agree to disagree.
