I agree, AND I'll take it one step further and add that a midgame expansion should target the midgame while not letting endgamers faceroll it.
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I believe a big reason that some "midgame" content is ignored by actual midgamers is because it's so inefficient compared to waiting a bit and coming back later.
As an example: I can kill the mole with base 60 or 70 combat stats. But why would I? It's slow, and as soon as someone with max combat stats and Dharok's or a tbow shows up I'm looking for a new world. Not super fun imo.
Idk how Jagex would do it, but making content where players with the target stats are on a similar playing field to players with max stats would be cool. Kinda like the skilling bosses I guess.
