I think that 1692 is fairly close to the average price point for indie perfumes.

But yeah, Sunday Swaps are the best. You can get a bundle of samples from tons of different houses from one person, so you only have to pay for shipping once. It's great for exploration.

You might want to make an ISO comment on the Request thread (on Sunday, you'll see it) saying something like "Hi, I'm just getting into indie perfumes and I'd like to buy and intro set of about ~25 (or whatever) samples from a variety of popular houses." You could specify which sorts of scents you like best and/or if there are any notes or scent families you really don't like ("I love fresh scents and fruity florals but am not a fan if heavy patchouli or incense," or whatever) and if you prefer general catalog/currently available scents (so you could FS if you wanted), otherwise you'd probably end up with a lot of samples of discontinued scents, which can be fun for exploring notes and houses, but can be frustrating if you fall in love with one and can never get a bigger size.
