Shroud having a good day in Battlefield V

What I like a bout Shroud is he's never all in, or all out when it comes to games. He's just honest. He points out what he likes and what he doesn't and is really fair about it

It would be so easy for him to go all hyperbolic and shit all over things like other streamers, or even youtubers, like an Angry Joe. Where they know people love rants and going ham on big publishers, like an EA. It's easy to do ride that wave, as it's so easily approved by the masses, and I feel so many streamers and youtubers do it, even if it's exactly honest and requires them to exaggerate and pretend their far more upset or down on something than they actually are

But that's not Shroud. He doesn't need to fake anything, so he doesn't. He can be as genuine as possible with his take on things, because what drives his popularity is his extremely high skill level and his personal likability. A lot of these other dudes don't have either of those things going for them. So they have to ride the hate trains and play up every trope and "controversy" as hard as they can

Shroud's emergence has really helped expose just how shitty that other approach is for me. And I find myself valuing his opinion on games FAR more than most others because I know it's coming from someone who A) is great at playing them, so he gets the full scope of how well they perform. And B) has no agenda, other than his own personal enjoyment
