Soaked In Bleach (2015) - "The events behind Kurt Cobain's death as seen through the eyes of Tom Grant, the private investigator." [CC]

What about evidence of any other footprints or bloodstained clothing from anyone? It's pretty clear that you not only believe he was murdered, but that his murder was at least directed by Courtney Love. That's a specific claim, and while some evidence can point in that direction, the evidence is not compelling enough to make a definitive judgement. This is very likely due to poorly conducted/incomplete investigation that could've simply revealed more facts about the death and the circumstances surrounding it. I don't have a problem with that, I'd just like to see more evidence. The "too much heroin claim" isn't enough. I can see how demolishing the garage could help Courtney cover up the scene, but that's not evidence of her committing the act. At best it's evidence of a cover up, at worst it's some dumb reason. She's a kook. She definitely contributed to his mental state, she was manipulative, regardless of whether or not he committed suicide. I don't take people's personal accounts or opinions as seriously as I do Cobains own writing as testimonial about whether or not he was depressed. I know how well people can hide it. I'm not firmly against the murder allegations, I'm just going with what the evidence actually shows. My biggest problem with most people who argue that he was murdered, is that they also argue that he was not depressed. Why? Those arguments don't have to be binary, a depressed Cobain could have been murdered by a crazy Courtney Love. People tend to believe that he just couldn't have committed suicide or wanted to die. He wrote a song called "I hate myself and want to die." People who have never felt the desperation of true suicidal thoughts can't comprehend why anyone would want to take their own life.

There are some big holes in the Cobain death story and I'm not sure we will ever have all the answers. I'm not even sure I'd believe Courtney if she came out and said she killed him at this point. If somebody else who was involved came out with some evidence from the scene or recon photos I'd believe it. It also doesn't matter to me personally, I'm happy Cobain gave us what he did. I wouldn't judge him for any reason if he took his own life, nor is he somehow vindicated if he was murdered. His music is not better because he died. His music is encapsulated because he didn't have the opportunity to fade away and produce crap, he died in his prime. It's a shame no matter how it went down.
