Destroying children's property. Yeah, most of those YouTube videos are staged. But some of them are real. And most real instances are not recorded.

If your child breaks the rules, you punish them. Timeouts, groundings, restricted privileges, maybe additional chores, whatever. Be creative.

But let the punishment fit the crime. You do not destroy their property. And yes, it IS their property, idgaf who actually paid for it. It's theirs. And even tho it means nothing to you, it means a lot to them. You do not have the right to destroy their property just because you don't know how to control your emotions.

When you destroy your child's belongings, you are a bad parent and I judge you for that.
