Hai, Im kay 19 year and i live in the netherlands. Is it easy to meet backpackers/travelers in cancun or the other big city’s? I have backpacked thailand pre covid. In thailand it was hard not to make friends and meet new people. Is cancun during covid a place with a lot of solo backpackers or is it mostly people that go on a week vacation in some expensive hotel. And would a 50 euro a day(60usd) be a comfort bugget. I do like some beers and am not planning on cooking food myself... but just some cheap streetfood and supermarket toastys.

Planning to go end of January to maybe april, and probably do a few different places in mexico. Or is it better to wait a few months until covid is maybe a bit more under control with the vaccine. And is springbreak 2021 canceld or do a lot of partykiddos still go?
