Again: Video games are still classified as toys (!!) would you give a child a toy tank/plane with a swastika on it?

No game company has gone to court yet and made the (very much winnable) case that video games should be re-classified as art (which TV/movies are).That is because in recent years cencorship of video game brutality has massivly gone down. Games like Doom can be published in Germany and even the most brutal get a advertisement stop at most, so there is few reasons for companies to file a lawsuit when they can just erase a few symbols and publish it no problem.

Also: that whole point is flawed why would removing a symbol from games mean you're trying to forget what it stands for? It's quite the opposite: that's the symbol under which the people united that brought us the worst war in human history and who murdered innocents by the millions simply for the sake of killing them! Why would you want to fly a plane depicting that symbol in your free time, for fun?? If anything Germay is trying to keep the original meaning of the nazi-swastika and make it so that everyone knows what it means: They want that you see this symbol the first time in his historical context and not in a videogame.
