Well, enlisted at age 18, did 4 years. Signed for 4 more reserve, that is 8 years 4+4=8. During this period I attended police academy where I graduated (none of your business where that was). Upon completion of that 4 year period I elected for another 2. 8+2=10. All the while my civilian career has been in law enforcement. How is that difficult to understand?
