Oh for fucks sake, the guy looked fine after the crash when he felt okay and he looks fine now. I get tired of people saying that he was mutilated or something. If nobody knew what he looked like before the crash, they would think he hasn't been in one.

Mark has theatrical training, it's not abnormal for actors to wear heavy makeup in order to emphasize their facial expressions. The eyeliner and mascara that he's gotten so much shit about looks fine, it's just frowned upon for men to wear them. It takes a real man to not concern himself with those insecurities. It takes a good person not to even worry about them.

What's wrong with this screencap other than that it's cheesy? It offends masculine stereotypes. From what I've heard in interviews that he's in (quite a lot since I want to be a voice actress and I look up to him), he feels very self-conscious about these kind of jokes but puts up with them because they make people laugh, which he loves to do and many of his gay fans idolize Luke as a positive gay icon in order to give themselves a hero where there are so few depicted in media. Even though Mark is not gay and Luke's only on-screen love interest was his own damn sister, Mark is honoured by this.

So cute the poor guy some fucking slack, he's a real life hero.
