My bad, hadn’t realised which account I was using- I comment a lot on the homebrew posts and local UK beer posts mainly (but don’t really want to announce the the link between the two accounts - there’s reasons I keep them separate) and, honestly. I work in education and have very obvious tattoos, being the only thing that’s stopped me from getting the courage to post. But explanations aside I see what you mean. it’s just been a really fun community to be part of, and life is so full of stress and red tape and seriousness it’s a shame to see such a fun and positive community turn so elitist.

Anyway, I ranted because it matters to me and I know I’m far from alone thinking what I was thinking.
