[Spoilers] George Takei Reacts To Recent 'Star Trek Beyond' News: "I Think It's Really Unfortunate"

George Takei has lost it. There was that reaction video of the first trailer where he blathered on about Roddenbury being some genius and Star Trek always being about breaking social barriers and making you think and shit like that. Oh really, Tekei? So what social barriers where YOU breaking down when you were parading shirtless through the hallways with sword? What deep, philosophical meaning am I supposed to get from Wrath of Khan, one of the dumbest, if not the dumbest action oriented low-rent ham-fisted retelling of Mobey Dick, ahem excuse me, Star Trek movies ever made? Which, by the way is still your most popular movie, Takei. Tell you what. When you give back all your Wrath of Khan money, that's when you have carte blanche to talk shit about the new movies. Then there's this. By all accounts, this is being handled correctly and with the proper class. It's incidental that the character turns out to be gay. That means he was gay for the past two movies, and it didn;t fucking matter! That means Star Trek '09 had the first gay character, and no one even knew yet! I can;t imagine a better way to do it! That's how you break down barriers! That's how it fucking happens in real life! "Oh, that guy is gay? I didn;t know. Gee, that might change my mind a little bit about gay people." Fuck you, Takei. You're a senile old man who's behind the times. You've forgotten that you went against Roddenberry's original vision with your Star Trek movies (and thank god that happened, otherwise Star Trek would have died as a franchise long ago) and your just butthurt over the fact that Roddenberry wouldn't let you be openly gay. You're just envious of what the new filmmakers get to do. You're such a caddy little bitch. Goddamn, just take the compliment.
