Staff Application Thread

IGN?: ESLGaming

Age?: I'm currently 14 years of age.

Timezone?: Mountain Standard Time (MST)

Why do you want to be staff?: I would like to be apart of the Lotus Network staff team for multiple reasons. First of all, I haven't been staff on a well-rounded server for almost a year now. I would like to once again work with my peers and help the players as much as I can. Secondly, my work-ethic is rather great. I'm very passionate for what I do as a staff member. I like keeping order in the server so players can enjoy themselves to the fullest. Moving forward, I believe that I'm a reliable and trusted staff member. On Para, Leafy counted on me to make sure everything was in order and nothing went wrong. Although I don't expect you to do this, He gave me multiple permissions such as gamemode. He knew that I never once abused my power. He also relied on me to stay up-to-date on ways to hide clients. Fortunately, I do not download anymore clients and have changed my credentials multiple times since then. Furthermore, I'll make sure to follow the set rules for Trial Mods and or any staff rank in general. If there's a guideline on how long to mute, ban, or tempban for [place offense here] I plan to follow it exactly. Although I have a good memory, I'd love to be given a written outline so I can look back on it when I'm required to. Having a guideline you can look back on at any moment is a great thing to have.

Previous Experience?: I have a bulk amount of experience with moderation. Over the pass years I've become staff on large servers such as MCPVP, Para, and even JailMC. My time at MCPVP was rather short. It wasn't short because I was a bad staff, but because the server was taking a turn for the worst. In April of 2013, the most popular gamemode known as Hardcore Games begun to loose players. Not only was the lose of players disheartening, I felt I overstayed my welcome as I staff member because higher ranked staff members began to treat the Moderators with much disrespect. I did soon resign from my position. Likewise, after my experience with MCPVP, I became staff on JailMC. The server was a rather laid back prison server. Everyone was extremely nice to one another unlike it's community counterpart (MineHQ). During the big EULA issue in August of 2014, the server was sold off and eventually closed down. They did re-release, but I denied to request to come back. During the fall of 2015, I became a dedicated player for ParaPvP. I began to talk to some staff members and was told I should apply, which of course, I received staff. At the time it was only a teams server and was quite popular. Once the HCF and Practice servers were released, I obtained staff there. I climbed the ladder all the way up to Admin. I was a rather hard-working Admin as LeafyIsSleepy was started to grow at the time, and he wanted to focus on YouTube as much as he could. I worked closely with the Developers and had a great fun dealing with weekend events such as Conquests. I've been staff on many other small HCF servers such as QuantumHCF and CoreHCF, but in my opinion, they are not worth putting to much words into them.

Other stuff you might want us to know?: As stated previously, I have not been staff on a server in nearly a year. I might have to be retaught how to screenshare, as which the hardest client to find was Cringed's client. I'm also a decent typist. This means I can quickly punish rule-breakers I find throughout the server. Moving on, I play football (American) for a team in my area. I attend every practice, which is once a day. My parents are somewhat strict, although they don't limit my time on the computer they do want me to go outside daily -- which is obviously understandable. I do make sure I get outside at least once a day. School isn't much of an issue for me, but since the school year is coming to a close I might have projects/studying to take care of before my staff work. Of course this is all in the future and may not happen.

Thank you!
