I agree that black people should not have to bear the burden of educating white people on why this is wrong. I see comments on here saying that these discussions on race should be led by whites, but as a white person, I am hesitant.

I don’t want to risk virtue signaling, and I don’t want to do the white savior thing, which I find revolting.

Basically I don’t want to say the wrong thing and I don’t want to give the impression that I’m speaking for black people as if my position lends the argument more validity because it’s coming from someone with privilege. It’s like when I think about men telling other men why sexism is wrong, I have a mixed reaction. I am angry that the message is only heard when spoken by a man. But I shrug, thinking if that’s what it takes then so be it.

Idk, I’m rambling. But if you want to understand the inaction of whites, maybe this will help. I care, but I don’t know what to do to change things. But that’s on me to figure out.
