I know this is really dumb but this reminded me of two very specific instances I had to handle at work. I worked at a sporting goods store btw. One was a guy who fell asleep standing up while on the phone while talking to a customer. When we tried to wake him up he just laid down on the floor flat like that. Dead ass asleep.

The second was someone who was stocking large coolers. The shelves were set rather widely to accommodate the coolers. And this guy stocked all the inventory and then laid down to take a nap on a shelf he set for himself between aisles. No one had the heart to wake him up. But I guess he set an alarm for himself and everyone heard that go off. Fr he prob did this a long time before anyone found out.

Retail workers are tired. Just so tired.
