Story telling rules you don't really agree with all the time. (Show don't tell)

I always thought Aloy was beautiful and unique. She doesn't need to flaunt her body or sexuality because none of that defines her as a character, as opposed to a character like Bayonetta (who I also love) because Bayonetta's character is tied heavily into her sexuality and power. They're both great for different reasons and it's okay to be sexy and flaunt it; it can be empowering and doesn't just have to be fanservice!

I liked that Aloy babbled to herself; she was an outcast and spent most of her life alone other than her adoptive father. I lived alone for about a year and a half with no pets and isolated from family and friends. I totally talked out loud to myself at home because it was lonely and it was making me a bit stir-crazy. Aloy's quirk resonated with me.

This is also something you can see in a lot of long-term homeless people; people look right past them like they don't even exist. People underestimate how lonely you can be even if you're surrounded by others and what kind of effects that can have on people's minds.

Aloy rocks and I can't wait to play her next game. The haters can get bent.
